ACM is a partner of the 2020 Bulldays, the well-known institution that realizes the Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Historic Grand Prix in addition to the Monte-Carlo Rally, with the participation of SBM, which manages the major spaces. The Automobile Club de Monaco is an automobile club based in Monaco. The club serves as the governing body for motor sports within Monaco and organizes the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix and the Monte Carlo Rally. It is a member of the International Automobile Federation, representing Monaco as a mobility and sports club.
Founded in 1890 as an association of cyclists, the Sport Vélocipédique Monégasque, the club began to incorporate motorists in 1907 and was renamed the Sport Vélocipédique et Automobile Monégasque. Alexandre Noghès, president of SVAM, began planning the principality’s first international motoring event, the Monte Carlo Rally, at the behest of Albert I, Prince of Monaco. The event would begin at points throughout Europe, eventually converging on Monaco. The club ceased organizing cycling events after World War I and was renamed the Automobile Club de Monaco in 1925.
